Lieutenant Peck began his law enforcement career with the Atlantic Beach Police Department in 2004 as a patrol officer. While serving as a patrol officer, he worked as a Field Training Officer and a Patrol Investigations/Evidence Technician. After Patrol, Lieutenant Peck served as a detective in the Crime Suppression Unit for 3 years. In 2011, he was promoted to Sergeant where he led a patrol squad and served as the department's first Administrative Sergeant. In 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and currently oversees all training within the Atlantic Beach Police Department, including in-service and field training. Lieutenant Peck is one of the department's lead police trainers, teaching topics such as Firearms, Defensive Tactics, TASER, and other general topics. Lieutenant Peck believes in the community policing concept.
