All performances in Atlantic Beach are FREE!
5Loaves2Fish Food Truck will be available to purchase dinner starting at 6:30 pm.
MEASURE FOR MEASURE is classified as a comedy play by William Shakespeare, but is also referred to as a 'problem play', because it cannot be easily described as either a tragedy or comedy.
The play’s main theme includes justice, mortality and mercy along with contradiction between corruption and purity. “Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall.” Mercy and virtue predominate since the play does not end tragically.
Come out to Johansen Park and witness Shakespeare’s idealism of the 1600s. Grab some food from 5loaves2fish Food Truck starting at 6:30 pm, grab a chair and sit back to enjoy the evening under the canopy in Johansen Park under the stars. Play starts at 8 pm. Great time for family and friends for this free outdoor annual play in Atlantic Beach.
